Research context

This blend pairs two growth-hormone secretagogues that act at different receptors. CJC-1295 in its no-DAC form — also called modified GRF (1-29) — is a tetrasubstituted analog of the first 29 residues of growth-hormone-releasing hormone, carrying D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15 and Leu27 with a C-terminal amide; those four substitutions block dipeptidyl-peptidase cleavage at the N-terminus and asparagine and methionine liabilities further along, which is the whole point of the design. Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide of a different lineage: Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, built from growth-hormone-releasing-peptide chemistry with two D-residues, a non-natural aminoisobutyric acid at the N-terminus and an amidated C-terminus, acting at the ghrelin receptor GHS-R1a.

Using one ligand at each receptor is standard in GH-axis work because the two pathways are studied as complementary: GHRH-receptor signaling and ghrelin-receptor signaling converge on somatotroph output through different G-protein routes. Ipamorelin was introduced in European Journal of Endocrinology in 1998 as the first GHS-receptor agonist with GH-release selectivity comparable to GHRH — in primary rat pituitary cells its potency and efficacy were close to GHRP-6, and in conscious swine it released GH without the ACTH and cortisol rise seen with GHRP-6 and GHRP-2 even far above its half-maximal concentration. That selectivity is why it, rather than an older GHRP, is the usual ghrelin-receptor partner in comparative and combination designs in pituitary-cell and animal models.

Pre-blended material has three practical advantages. The ratio is fixed at manufacture, so it is consistent from vial to vial. Each vial needs one reconstitution instead of two. And one lot COA covers both molecules: LC-MS identity is confirmed for each component, and RP-HPLC purity is reported for each component, so both are documented under the same lot code.

What to check on the certificate, component by component. For CJC-1295: the LC-MS mass against the no-DAC tetrasubstituted GRF(1-29) amide — the DAC version carries an added maleimidopropionyl-lysine for albumin conjugation and is a much larger molecule, so the mass settles which one is in the vial — plus RP-HPLC purity for that peak alone. For ipamorelin: the mass against the Aib-containing pentapeptide amide; generic residue-mass calculators mishandle Aib and D-2-naphthylalanine, so compare against the certificate's expected mass rather than a calculator. For both: counter-ion and net peptide content, since the salt form changes mass per milligram and therefore the effective ratio, and the stated component amounts against the label.

Regulatory position, stated factually: neither component is an FDA-approved drug, and this blend is not a drug product. FDA lists CJC-1295 among bulk drug substances nominated for compounding and then withdrawn by the nominators, and lists ipamorelin acetate both in that table and in category 2 of its interim policy under section 503B. Component amounts are listed on the product label and on the lot COA. WholesalePeptide.us supplies this blend as a research reference material for in-vitro, analytical and preclinical laboratory research.

Note on naming: "CJC-1295" without qualification sometimes refers to the drug affinity complex (DAC) version. This blend contains the no-DAC form, which the COA's LC-MS mass confirms.

Research areas

  • GHRH receptor and ghrelin receptor co-stimulation
  • pulsatile GH release in animal models
  • GH-axis signaling
  • multi-component LC-MS identity testing
  • GHS-R1a and GHRH-receptor comparative ligand panels
  • non-natural residue mass confirmation (Aib, D-2-Nal)

Handling and storage

  • Store lyophilized vials at −20 °C, sealed, protected from light and moisture.
  • Let the vial equilibrate to room temperature before opening to limit condensation.
  • Reconstitute in an appropriate sterile buffer or solvent according to your laboratory SOP.
  • Reconstitute the whole vial once; both components are then in solution together. Aliquot and avoid repeated freeze–thaw.

CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin Blend wholesale FAQ

Can I buy the CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend wholesale?

Yes. the CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend is sold in 10-vial kits with a minimum order of one kit. Published price breaks apply at 3, 10 and 50 kits, and orders of 100+ kits are quoted within one business day. See wholesale pricing. All material is supplied for laboratory research use only.

How is purity reported for a two-component blend?

Each lot COA from an independent third-party laboratory lists LC-MS identity for both CJC-1295 (no DAC) and ipamorelin and RP-HPLC purity for each component. Each component is released at 99%+. A lot-specific Certificate of Analysis is published before the lot ships. See the COA library.

Is the CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend approved by the FDA?

No. Neither component is an FDA-approved drug, and the blend is not a drug product. WholesalePeptide.us sells it as a research reference material only; For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

How is The CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend shipped?

The CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend ships as lyophilized powder in sealed vials via UPS / USPS, tracked. Orders paid by 2:00 PM ET Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. We ship to U.S. addresses only. Details are on the shipping page.

How do I confirm the blend contains the no-DAC CJC-1295 rather than the DAC version?

By mass. The DAC version carries an added maleimidopropionyl-lysine group for albumin conjugation, so it is substantially heavier than the plain tetrasubstituted GRF(1-29) amide. The LC-MS identity line for the CJC-1295 component on each lot COA reports the observed mass, which separates the two unambiguously. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
